Tirsan Kardan, having secured a position among Turkey’s top 500 industrial companies, is poised to sustain its growth through the establishment of Tirsan Academy. The primary objective of Tirsan Academy is to perpetuate the company’s legacy by strategically addressing the training, development, and career progression of its employees across successive generations.
Zeynep Tiryaki Gürkan, Chairwoman of the Board of Tiryakiler A.Ş., Nurdoğan Nebioğlu, Advisor to the Board of Directors, A. Hakan Cengiz, Sales and Business Development Director, A. Bahadır Sade, Financial Affairs Director, Dr. Füsun Toros, Human Resources Director, Adnan Koruk, Project and Application Engineering Manager,Efe Işık, the Manager of the Advanced Product Design and Test Center, and Demet Aydın, the Corporate Communications Specialist, were in attendance at the inauguration of Tirsan Academy, which commenced operations at Tirsan Kardan facilities. During the event, members of the press were given a comprehensive tour of the company’s production and R&D centers and were provided with detailed insights into the company’s activities by the relevant authorities.

Speaking at the launch meeting of Tirsan Academy, Zeynep Tiryaki Gürkan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tiryakiler A. Ş., said: “Our business, which started as a small spare parts store in Çankaya in 1957 by my grandfather İsmail Tiryaki, the founder of our company, today exports to more than 70 countries on 6 continents with a turnover of more than 200 million dollars, and its capital belongs to the Tiryali family with 4 companies within its structure. Today, we need to take important steps for the sustainable future of our group. The first of these is the development of our employees, the most valuable asset of Tirsan. We are aware that the most important way to achieve this is education. That is why we are here today to open Tirsan Academy with you. Tirsan Academy will be a training and development center, a kind of school for our companies. It is a school where our employees can improve themselves and pursue their goals both within our organization and within the universities we cooperate with. I would like to thank all my colleagues and university officials who contributed to the realization of this project. I sincerely believe that we will continue our development journey by adding myself to it.”
